Rancho Selah Hills

Our stay at Selah Hills Ranch was truly remarkable! Brad and Lorie are excellent hosts and were there to answer any questions, serve fresh baked cookies, bring bug spray or offer fishing advice to our kids. The ranch provided a perfect place for us to spend time as a family as we visited our son for his parent's weekend at a nearby college. The home and land is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. We hope to visit again soon!!

Property mostly as described, exterior was beautiful, great location. The owners were overly friendly and accommodating initially and even stated they just wanted to get to know us and share stories. Nice if that’s what you’re looking for but we were not, we went for business as well as a peaceful break. It is definitely pet friendly so if you have any sort of allergies, you’d want to avoid. The owner stated there was an issue with the fact of the owners living in the home getting on the listing for a second time. So we were completely unaware of that and wouldn’t have booked initially. We were happy to make other accommodations and just wanted a refund but the owner was not very pleasant to us once he found out we’d reached out to VRBO in the middle of the night versus him directly. This wouldn’t have been such a big deal but we had no idea who else was staying there and no lock from our side and we had small children with us. Quite a surprise to find we were not alone in the home at 11:30 pm due to snoring and a dog barking. Strange situation overall.

Brad and Lorie are excellent hosts with speedy communication, genuine concern, and flexibility. Families gathered from out of state for a wedding and each had their own private suite to rest and get ready. We fished the three ponds on the property and caught the biggest bluegill we’d ever seen. The kids also enjoyed feeding the Scottish highland cattle and the adults soaked in the hot tub. The view causes a person to pause and be thankful.

Selah Hills Ranch is a place you need to experience. Not just a review to look at and pass up. Its truly a piece of heaven on Earth. Brad and Lorie are amazing hosts and have a beautiful ranch with Highland cows, chickens, welcoming dogs, farm cats and ponds to fish. The atmosphere is relaxing and breathtaking. Dont miss the opportunity to get away from the fast pace life most of us live, and take in all the beauty this place has to offer. Relax and restore. We stopped for a night stay here to break up a long cross country move; I wish we could’ve stayed longer! The hosts were exceptionally kind and accommodating. We were not aware the hosts were also in the home, but they respected the privacy we needed after a long day of driving. The rooms are all code entry. The owners also have dogs, but were willing to move them to another house when requested due to our dogs barking with theirs. The property is beautiful and my four year old caught his first ever fish! A true gem of a home with no issues. I highly recommend!
